Residents Leo and Miley Perry are Enjoying Beautiful Waterfront Views and Delicious Cuisine at The Fountains

YOU CAN SEE FOR MILES
Even better than our gorgeous bay view is the clarity of being comfortably situated for today and whatever tomorrow brings.

“I love it. We are on the 21st floor. We have beautiful views from our bedroom, from our living area. Out the window you can see for miles over the water and it’s gorgeous. It’s the first thing we look at when we get up in the morning and the last thing we look at when we go to bed.” – Miley Perry, resident of The Fountains at Boca Ciega Bay

Miley grew up the youngest of 10 in rural Pennsylvania. She raised three children with her first husband, a pilot. Leo hails from upstate New York, where he married his high school sweetheart and raised two children, working for the state and later as a property manager. Leo and Miley met at the Mainlands when, after seeing the Gulfport Senior Citizens Harmonica Group perform, Miley decided to take a lesson. With Leo as her instructor, she caught on fast. Widowed, these music lovers tied their second knot seven years ago. Today, when they’re not enjoying the view from the 21st floor at The Fountains, they’re recruiting new harmonica players for their popular new in-house group.

WHAT’S ON THE MENU?
Leo and Miley appreciate the convenience of being served delicious meals without lifting a finger. They enjoy joining neighbors at breakfast and dinner, often taking their dessert to go for a sweet treat later at home. And that’s just the beginning of the conveniences they have come to enjoy every day. “Their food is absolutely fantastic. This is what enticed me. I don’t have to cook anymore. I don’t have to go shopping for groceries or anything. And I don’t even have to clean anymore. All I have to worry about is getting out of bed in the morning. He gets up, he’s an early bird. He wakes me up at seven so we can be down to breakfast at 8 o’clock. Breakfast is wonderful.” – Miley Perry

SO CONVENIENT
Leo and Miley can always find a game of Pinochle at The Fountains and Leo especially likes having all their doctors and hospital within a quarter mile with transportation provided. Plus their primary doctor visits the community every Tuesday. Talk about convenient! Their families can sleep better at night knowing Leo and Miley are independent and autonomous in every way. “We are not going out very much with our car and that’s one of the things that we like. Come March I’m going to sell my car and take advantage of the facilities here.” – Leo Perry
